Raresh is name we’re all familiar with, a true master within the world of house & a pioneer in shining light into the underground scene that we all know and love. He’s made a bit of a habit of coming down under in recent years, so we’re over the moon to welcome him into our space, and to let him simply do his thing.

The Romanian has soared to great heights over the years, his dedication, talent & infectious smile have all played parts in his success. Alongside his fellow companions Petre Inspirescu & Rhadoo, [a:rpia:r] was formed, and the 3 brought the underground sound of Bucharest to life. Now, Raresh is known for his unstoppable grooves, energy & moments whilst in the booth, so we’re overjoyed to see what he has got in store for us. 

Raresh will set the tone for 3 hours as the clock strikes 12, sandwiched between 2 unmatched figures from our very own underground world. Whitecat joins the bill to set the tone for Raresh: a prime figure in Sydney’s world. You name it, he’s played it. A record collection spanning the ages, Whitecat has a well seasoned taste & will deliver a perfectly baked warm-up. Completing the night is none other than Bortzo, an individual known for his deep & dirty bag. With a history of all things house, minimal & electro, Bortzo has everything the dance floor needs to keep going after Raresh, and after recently supporting the main man on his prior visit, knows a thing or two about how to groove.

The final Carousel Fridays of January see's a double header with Nick Reverse ready to deliver a live set to cause some rumble within the club. Barbuto joins the stage as a stand up figure within Sydney's nightlife, who's sure to get things going. With these two behind the decks, Carousel is sure to pump into the early hours of Saturday morning.

Joining them will be a logjam of locals who are eager to groove out on either side of the two figures. Neverland ensures the groove is neverending, with André Müller receiving a warm welcome as he comes returns to the booth. Corey Kennedy returns for another selection session as Valkyria steps in behind the decks to get things going.

Meanwhile, CHKLTE returns to Australian shores after making waves internationally. We’re buzzing to share that Guy Mantzur’s Moments is returning to Sydney after last year’s Sold Out show! Yes, we’re back in Carousel to kick-off our new monthly residence. And we can’t think of a better way to launch than with this iconic brand.
 
Joining Guy for this extra special edition of Moments is none other than progressive heavy-weight, Kamilo Sanclemente. Coming all the way from Colombia and quickly gaining worldwide recognition for topping the charts and his unique progressive house sounds, Kamilo’s signed to some of the most prestigious labels, including The Soundgarden, Anjunadeep, Parquet, Manual Music, Beatfreak, Balance and Global Underground.
 
On support duties, we’re welcoming Joshua Crowe into the Rio fold for the very first time, and we can’t think of anyone better to bring the party home than Rio Resident, Lucy. 
 
If you were lucky enough to score a ticket to our last Sold Out show with Sebastien Leger, you’ll know it doesn’t get much better than these parties or this sound system.

"Moments" Guy Mantzur & Kamilo Sanclemente

Get ready for this. We’re beyond excited to welcome back the one and only, Jody Wisternoff (Anjunadeep) for his ‘Welcome to My World’ album tour. This highly anticipated and freshly released album is his third release on Anjunadeep and it’s quickly receiving rave reviews. 

Bristol dance legend, and a pivotal figure in the UK’s rave scene since the early 90’s, Jody’s renowned for his role in shaping the sound of the Anjunadeep label. With a number of chart-topping albums already under his belt and having achieved veteran status as half of Way Out West — we shouldn’t have to say this, but we will anyway — this is one you really don’t want to miss. 

Last time Jody played for us, it was a complete roadblock, and he blew our minds. Now, he’s returning for an EXTENDED SET on Sydney’s best sound system, for the second edition of our new residence at Carousel. You better believe this will be one for the books.
