It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and in line with our Saturdays at Carousel we’re joining together on this one to present Santa Claus… Wait, no, we mean Dan Ghenacia!

Dan Ghenacia is the undisputed kingpin of the Paris underground scene and one of France’s hottest DJ exports, having founded and ran for seven years Freak N’ Chic and now one of the three creative minds behind new label and b2b2b DJ outfit Apollonia.

Dan’s love affair with music ignited whilst spending a year in California in his early 20’s, soaking up West Coast house and psychedelia. On his return to Paris, Dan channelled this passion into a record selling business opening his own store Traffic Records, but as a true fan of the music he didn’t just want to peddle vinyl – he wanted to play it. Quickly gaining notoriety on the Paris scene with the infamous afterparties at Batofar, it was here he honed his distinctive techno-meets-deep-house sound, at the same time inspiring a new generation of DJs and first sharing the decks with later to become lifelong friends, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky.

He's joined by bossman Kerry Wallace, linking arms and skipping in merrily alongside Alma, as they take on the opening hours. They’ll be decking the halls and warming the floor perfectly before Dan slides down the chimney. Nils Twachtmann is donning his best chimney sweep uniform as he takes control of the platters that matter for the late night sunrise session, ensuring we leave with out much of a trace, just a few crumbs and an empty glass of milk.

Summer has set in strongly, and we’re not slowing down. Our good friends SlapFunk make the long journey across the world, bring a taste of Amsterdam to Sydney, with their resident Doudou MD in the hot seat.

Born from a Dutch classical singer/pianist player and a Congolese percussionist drummer, it comes as no surprise that the art of playing music literally runs through her veins. Her mostly vinyl sets are 90's UK/US/DE inspired, supported by strong percussion, rhythms and a spiritual touch. Always aiming to engage in a conversation with her crowd, dancing to her sets will release that inner gangster gut feeling in you. Body focused, voluptuous house and techno at its best.

The warmup for this week remains tight-lipped for the moment, with another secret brand joining forces for a secret after party that is set to stack this night beyond comprehension. It’s an all guns blazing, take no prisoners situation. S.A.S.H bossman Kerry Wallace returns this week, taking control of the sunrise set, digging deep into his arsenal of techy slapping sounds, and warm wonky rollers.

The last Saturday of the year welcomes back one of our favourite artists, Laidlaw. 
With firm footing in the city of London, Laidlaw has become a trailblazer with his sound - igniting dance floors with energy each and every time he steps into the booth. The world of music moves forward through consistent work from certain individuals that constantly experiment and push the boundaries of sound into the unknown, searching for a new perspective on the already existing and building new movements from the ground up. Laidlaw has shown to be one of these creatives for the new generation of party-goers. The Beeyou Co-Founder has created a movement with his brand in recent years with a heavy focus on creating the ultimate atmosphere to get lost in sound, with a string of events that have taken the UK by storm, changing the way people party.

He's taking control for an extended 5-hour set taking us right through to the end of the night and seeing us through the sunrise session. Joining him, the Scenes crew have put forward two of their residents Felix! & Shing to charge with the task of an extended 3-hour warmup, ensuring the dance floor is properly primed and ready for Laidlaw to take control. We’re in for a big one!

Beamed from outer space like a cosmic pied piper, Tristan da Cunha was put on earth to make us move. A serious collector & selector with an expansive vinyl archive that has both depth and breadth across the many genres within the house & techno spectrum. His collection is only surpassed by his infectious energy behind the decks. Truly wonderful and unique, TDC is a sonic force that never fails to move the dance floor and pop the party, regardless of where or when he plays. 

PARKER & FRIENDS, in the form of bossman PARKER and resident Harry Walters, step into the booth as the local brand in charge of closing out the night. No stranger to a big stage, they’re both well equipped to take the reigns after TDC is done shelling out this arsenal. Since he was first teased a couple of months back, we have been bombarded with requests about when he’s making it to Sydney. Now you have him! The Bass Jamz co-founder and all-round bad boy Gaskin one of the scenes fasting rising stars. With an adoring fan bass across the globe, and a serious backlog of high quality productions and releases to his name, he’s sure to blow the roof off the joint. We’ll be invoicing him for the repair bill after the show… 

After Hours are our local legends joining us for this fabled occasion, trading out the “after hours” for the early evening, stepping in with their residents Khobi Deep & Charlie Barber to warm the floor and get us all in the mood before Gaskin steps up to the platters that matter. Cessy makes a return to the S.A.S.H booth to close out the night and walk us through the sunset session with a hop skip and a mighty jump.

Well accustomed now, the third edition of our new night of the week belongs to one of the all-time greats of the deeper side of house music, Mihai Popoviciu. Mihai is considered one of the most innovative eastern European producers of electronic music today. He started producing music in 2001 and over many years of dedication – and lots of experimenting – he developed a truly unique and signature sound. As a producer he likes to innovate and is always refining his sound palette. His flavourous DJ sets have a distinctive personal touch delivering a perfectly balanced mixture of groovy beats, warm pads and musical emotions that leave you itching for more.

For a stalwart of this stature, we had to double down, inviting along both the Jupiter X & Bass Haven crews to join forces. A collection of their residents, in the forms of Stizz, Ronan & Holmesy, are going toe to toe… to toe, locking in for a serious b3b to close out the night, with their warm sound to mirror the sunrise session. Ensuring the floor is properly warmed for our esteemed guest, Cassette is locked and loaded to roll out those early groovers, and ensure the floor is properly warmed.

Week 2 of our Saturdays sits firmly and comfortably in the hands of rising Dutch star, Job De Jong. A raver at heart, Job’s passion for music can be felt in all he does. His sound is an infectious fusion of nostalgic 90s house intertwined with robust basslines and contagious melodies; all tied together with raw drum elements that are recognizably his own. Sitting at the forefront of his generation, Job’s promising career has already taken him to some of the most highly regarded venues and festivals in the worldwide circuit, performing at Studio 338 in London, Cova Santa in Ibiza, as well as Bret, Shelter, and Awakenings Festival in Amsterdam - just to name a few.

Alongside the Flying Dutchman, Joel & Friends are standing large and in charge, with their head honcho Joel Cantone & regular Nats going toe to toe, securing the early hours of the evening and settling us in before Job takes to the booth. Stacie Fields makes her return to our Stables, tasked with bringing in the morning, and seeing us through the sunset session.

•	Every Saturday, 10pm–6am – giving you a dancefloor after everywhere else shuts.
•	Sunrise Sets – with morning light spilling through the red rear window for a unique atmosphere.
•	No Phones on the Dancefloor – Respect the vibe and stay present. Step off to the side to capture moments if you must.
•	Exclusive Lighting –Brand-new lighting fixtures exclusive to S.A.S.H, you won’t see these anywhere else in Sydney, not even on other nights at Carousel.
•	Extended Sets & Big Collabs – Every Saturday features international headliners, extended sets, and partnerships with top local and global brands.

Priming our engines and strapping into the hot seat, we’ve invited down our good friends Half Baked London to dump the clutch and pump us hard into 6th gear. Their resident Sam Bangura is our guest of honour for this first weekend of Saturday madness. One half of the wild Brainsurfers duo – with Harry McCanna – and one third of the North South Records trio – also with Harry McCanna, and Dale Mussington – Sam is trading the North for the South and settling into Sydney with arsenal of heavy hitters in his record bag. 

He’s joined by S.A.S.H bossman Kerry Wallace, stepping up to set the scene and show us all how to properly warm a dance floor, before long-time S.A.S.H favourites and Northern Beaches Naughty-boys Persian Rug take us through the wee hours of the morning and well into the sunset session.

Programming and hosting of the 3 regular weeks of October are safely in the hands of Marley Sherman. Having previously worked in the role on a full-time basis for S.A.S.H, there are few who understand the complexities and nuances of curating a perfect night of music quite as intuitively as The Sherm. He is responsible for discovering, nurturing and providing a platform for a vast array of Sydney’s local talent, as well as helping to bring in the international stars that we know and love. 

In the final week of Sherm's Sunday Sessions - and the last weekly S.A.S.H on Sunday before we move across to Saturday nights - we're treated to 2 hours of power from Marley himself. No stranger to a grand occasion, Sherm's a seasoned veteran when it comes to big ticket items. Whether it's intricately weaving stripped back sounds or slamming big house groovers he's got an extensive archive of party starters and deep dive charters. There's no one more fitting to see off our weekly Sundays! Joining him at the helm, NZ's Logan Baker & Jake Rattler have become Shipwrecked, leaving them beach'd as, bro, and stranded on our salty shores. We thought why not bring them in out of the cold and have them dish out the heaters to close the night. Sydney's most notorious criminals are Jaywalking their way into the warmup for the night, ensuring when Sherm takes the stage we're all properly massaged and still a little oily. Tia Lacoste is the competition winner for this week, kicking things off from 9pm. 

As always, our focus for homegrown talent is a must, and with S.A.S.H’s goal to expand our community, the opening slot is on offer to a fresh new face to saddle up on the horse. Announced weekly, an eager jockey will take control of the club to kick things into gear for the evening.

Dingo makes his return to the booth, taking control of the warmer flavours and early hours in the lead up to midnight. Alioz is the competition winner for this week, setting the scene and kickstarting the night.

Still dusting ourselves off from the October long weekend, we roll head-first into the rest of the month, and a new month means a new Guest Booker is strutting their stuff. The 3 regular weeks of October are held safely in the hands of Marley Sherman. Having previously worked in the role on a full-time basis for S.A.S.H, there are few who understand the complexities and nuances of curating a perfect night of music quite as intuitively as The Sherm. He is responsible for discovering, nurturing and providing a platform for a vast array of Sydney’s local talent, as well as helping to bring in the international stars that we know and love. 

To get us rolling, he’s cast out his line and hooked a right catch. Suttz is our second favourite Irishman to ever walk this earthly plane, and the first name to top the bill in October. A purveyor of fine tunes, and a true digger, Jeff’s record bag has some of the classiest, wonkiest and funkiest tracks we’ve had the pleasure of hearing. He’s sandwiched between a double dose of duos, with the KNA lads trading the late show for the early evening, setting the mood and bringing the groove. On the flip side, the dynamic duo of young guns Felix! & Shing in to send us well into the wee hours of the morning. The competition winner slot for this week is awarded to MTHR.LDE, ready to roll in and get the night underway with deep lush, ambient tones, and ethereal ear candy. 

As always, our focus for homegrown talent is a must, and with S.A.S.H’s goal to expand our community, the opening slot is on offer to a fresh new face to saddle up on the horse. Announced weekly, an eager jockey will take control of the club to kick things into gear for the evening.

With the days getting warmer, and the beginning of daylight savings just a bee's dick away, we look to the October Long Weekend to kickstart the Summer Season ahead. 

Sailing across the perilous Pacific Ocean, all the way from Brasil, we have joined forces with Rendezvous to invite a very special Secret Guest into Carousel, CLASSMATIC. 

Bringing a fresh spin to the scene, rising Brazilian house DJ and producer, Classmatic is making great moves from the underground to the international circuit. From tech house, minimal, deep house, and so much more, Classmatic is turning heads with his groovy house heaters. He has built his brand to spread good vibes and positive energy into the dancefloors. The last few years have been monumental for Classmatic’s career, thanks to his hard work producing music, building his own label, and worldwide touring. Classmatic is on the fast track to becoming a leading house artist.

Rendezvous' Corey Kennedy & Andre Muller take control of warming the floor for our Brasilian brother, with Sean Hewlett keeping the energy flowing and the vibes high to close out the night.

Like a double dose of sunshine, an extra layer of warmth and a comforting hug from mum, PARKER spreads good vibes everywhere he goes. A laid-back geezer with a true work ethic, he’s more than proven himself time and time again, as a DJ, a Producer, and a Promoter; he’s got it all. 

All good things must come to and end, but before we say farewell to PARKER, and the month of September, there’s one final Sunday session to be had. This one is headed up by our good friend SEPP. Sepp has been on the radar for quite a while now and recently things have taken flight for him. After touring extensively these past few years and getting accustomed to many cultures, he's grown and matured his sound both as a producer and a dancefloor conductor. As he moves forward and continues to delight and surprise people all around the world with his flair and precision mixing, SEPP is a name you will certainly come to hear more of in the future, but first you can hear him when he steps up to the plate on Sunday night from the stroke of 12. He’s been carefully sandwiched between the Sense-less duo C29STY x Nicholas Zarb on the warm up ting, and the far more sensible Angus Kyle ready to rumble in the jungle taking us deep into the wee hours of the morning for the close. As always, we’re kickstarted by our competition winner. This week the slot belongs to Eren Kalender, who always has a trick up his sleeve, or a potion in his pocket. 

As always, our focus for homegrown talent is a must, and with S.A.S.H’s goal to expand our community, the opening slot is on offer to a fresh new face to saddle up on the horse. Announced weekly, an eager jockey will take control of the club to kick things into gear for the evening.

They unshackle the chains and take the reins to steer this great beast from the stroke of midnight before handing over to Ashlea Milinkovic and Kemba throwing down the heavy hitters that give you those late-night jitters. There’s a double dose of debutants decking the halls for the earlier hours. Theodor Jasper makes his debut for the horse, sliding into the warmup for the night’s occasion, with Ghost Train duo taking the South Coast Line into the big smoke for a night on the tools as the competition winners for this week, kicking us off from 9pm.

This Saturday we welcome in our compatriots from the North, Dwaal, to join us in taking control of the night ahead with another b2b bonanza that they’re renowned for. Our special guest for the occasion is swinging on in all the way from Argentina to take charge of the platters that matter. 

With more than 20 years in the electronic music world, JORGE SAVORETTI is an iconic name in the South American scene. The close bond between Savoretti and electronic music started in 1993 when he discovered dance music at underground rave events in his hometown in Rosario, Argentina. In 1996, when he was 15 years old he quickly took up behind the turntables. Savoretti has managed to cross different bridges during his rich musical history acquiring a unique sense of versatility. He can create atmospheres as few can do, building a special bond with the dance floor.

On support for this simmer-session, Josh Haiez & Ksea go toe to toe, bro to bro, and elbow to elbow to launch us into the late-night and throw down the heavy hitters that make us wake up wondering what day it is. Venda, Ryan Kabaara & Danillo Coppaz are getting far too comfortable, cramming all three of them into the booth for an extended b3b warmup session under the Carousel lights, setting the mood, the tone and hopefully some boundaries, to ensure we’re all properly primed & warmed ahead of our guest for the night.
