Event Description
The Scene is Set, Parker & Friends Presents Doozie Records first ever showcase & label party, at Sydney's long anticipated hottest new & in demand club, The Carousel & Ballroom. Emerging from its digital veil any day now, the new Oxford Street venue steeped in glitz and mystique, proudly beckons you for a throwdown. And with XL cutting-edge lighting, and kitted out with a 32 piece Funktion One sound system, we can't think of anywhere better to cut the ribbon.
Headlining is none other than FUSE regular CASEY SPILLMAN. Who will take the helm for the special occasion. Casey grew up on the outskirts of London, the city to which his sound pays homage. Jamming early doors to DMZ and artists similarly spirited by the rhythms of reggae and jungle, Casey soon took to crafting his own work, dabbling with production.
Over the years his sound flourished locally and internationally and holds its own with many a crowd in the underground scene. The Greater Londoner's records are a staple in any leading DJ set, and we're absolutely buzzing to have him at the tables.
Elsewhere on the card, label-boss PARKER on chief support. We then have P&F resident and serial selector Harry Walters. Next up is the boy who always delivers our label’s A&R and Manchester boy Matka. Last but definitely not least up, upcoming hotshot local lad Ben Horton. The Suspect events Co-founder will be dropping the early goods.
